Boarding Bridges
Each airline has access to boarding bridges for all flights but also can provide additional support for accessing and assistance through the terminal, security screening process and boarding and deboarding aircraft. Contact your airline prior to your arrival at the airport to arrange assistance.

Elevators
Elevators are available to access the second level of the terminal building pre- and post-security near gate 3. See the Terminal Map for details.
Language Translation
We provide language translation services for our non-English speaking customers. Please locate an airport employee or law enforcement officer for assistance.

Parking
Handicapped Parking is available in designated areas of both the two hour and long term (anything over two hours) lots at Central Illinois Regional Airport. Both are located in front of the terminal building. Please be sure to properly display your state-issued Disabled Parking Placard by hanging from the rearview mirror or on the dashboard unless you have a Disabled Parking License.
Pet Relief Area
CIRA has designated the grassy area west of the employee parking lot next to the west end of the terminal building as the pet relief area.
Shuttle Bus
CIRA’s parking shuttle bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift to assist passengers and guests that are traveling through the airport to and from their parked vehicles. You can call for the shuttle using the designated phone in the bag claim area or by calling (866) 967-2472.
Service and Emotional Support Animals
Service and emotional support animals are allowed throughout the building with proper documentation. Pet travel restrictions vary by airline so please consult with your airline prior to arrival at the terminal.

Traveling with Pets
All small traveling pets are required to be placed in a pet travel carrier while in the building and prior to boarding the aircraft.
Wheelchair Availability/Access
Wheelchairs are available in the vestibule of the terminal building. Contact your airline prior to your arrival to arrange assistance.
Visual Paging
Visual paging is available throughout the building through the Flight Information Display System (FIDS).
ADA / Section 504 Compliance
Central Illinois Regional Airport-CIRA is committed to ensuring that all individuals, including those with disabilities, have equal access to its programs, services, and activities. The airport complies with the requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and its implementing regulations at 28 CFR Part 35 and 49 CFR Part 27.
Any person who believes they have been subjected to discrimination on the basis of disability by Central Illinois Regional Airport-CIRA may file a complaint under this process. Complaints must be filed within 180 days of the alleged discrimination. Complaints must be submitted in writing, and should include the following information:
Name and contact information of the complainant;
A description of the alleged discrimination, including the date and location of the alleged discrimination;
Any supporting documentation or information that the complainant wishes to provide.

The airport will investigate all complaints in a prompt and thorough manner. The airport will provide the complainant with written notice of the results of the investigation and any remedial action taken, if any. If the complaint is not resolved to the complainant’s satisfaction, the complainant may appeal the decision to the airport’s Section 504 Coordinator.

The appeal must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the complainant’s receipt of the notice of the results of the investigation. The Section 504 Coordinator will investigate the appeal and provide the complainant with written notice of the results of the appeal.
