BADGE REQUIREMENTS
Air Operations Area (AOA) Badges
Hangar tenants are required to obtain AOA badges. Please follow the instructions below:
- Schedule an appointment for badging here. Appointments can be made via phone by dialing 309-663-7384, but the preferred method is online booking.
- Bring the following with you to your appointment:
- Section Two (2) of the BMI Badge Application must be completely filled out by the Hangar Lease Holder for AOA badges.
- Two (2) forms of ID (please see the list of approved I-9 documentation).
*NOTE: without a complete application and the proper ID, we will have to reschedule your appointment.
When you arrive for your appointment, we will review your badge application and IDs and take your picture for your badge.
Within one week of your badge appointment, you will need to complete and pass the security training. Security training for AOA badge applicants is conducted in person.
It can take up to two weeks for your badge to be ready to issue. We will contact the badge applicant via phone to notify them the badge is ready after successfully passing all requirements. When you receive notification from the Central Illinois Regional Airport Authority, your badge may be picked up from our Airport Administration office located on the second level of the terminal building. If you are picking up your badge outside of office hours, please contact the Airport Authority office during normal business hours (Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) at 309-663-7384 to make arrangements for pick-up.
Badge Fees
